Two siblings from Italy, one little bar on a sleepy corner of Santa Ponça, a thousand new friends and counting.

Bar Rumba has poured drinks on this corner since 1997. Andrea and his sister Nicole — two Italians who washed up in Mallorca — took the keys in 2023, the fourth pair of hands to run it. She opens up each morning, pours the coffees and remembers what you ordered last summer.

We're not a fancy place. We're the bar where the experience doesn't end with the drink.

Andrea will tell you where to eat tonight, where the tourists don't go, and probably bring crisps over while he's at it. Travel alone? Pull up a stool. You won't be alone for long.

Snacks on the house. Football on the telly.

Crisps just appear with your beer. The match is on if there's a match on. Bring food in if you're peckish — nobody minds. We even sell 0% beer for the designated drivers. It's that kind of place.

Bring the dog. Kina holds court.

We're a pet-friendly bar. Water bowls under the bar, crisps for the humans, tummy rubs for the dogs. Kina is our most hairy popular regular and she's always up for a new friend.

Oh my gosh, what a pub. Andrea was so lovely, he talked to us all night. He even made me a drink that wasn't on the menu — drinks are so cheap but so good quality. On the last night we exchanged numbers. Will 100% be back.
